Under Secretary of State for Economic Growth, Energy, and the Environment Keith Krach will travel to New York City on September 22 for meetings with his counterparts on the margins of the 74th Session of the UN General Assembly (UNGA) High Level week.
While there, Under Secretary Krach will attend meetings with Secretary Pompeo. He will also host bilateral and multilateral meetings with government leaders from UNGA member states and with senior business officials to promote the United States’ global economic priorities and discuss issues including development based on free market competition, fair trade, innovation, private sector engagement, and democratic principles. The Under Secretary will be the senior U.S. official to address the High-Level Dialogue on Financing for Development, where he will speak about how economic growth is key to a prosperous and peaceful world.
