On behalf of the Government of the United States of America, I send my warm wishes to the people of Guinea in commemoration of the 61st anniversary of your independence. Guinea has taken tremendous strides to set the country’s path towards peace and prosperity. We remain committed to working with the government and people of Guinea to support economic development, consolidate regional peace and security, and strengthen health institutions.
