Secretary of State Michael R. Pompeo spoke with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen on March 14. The two discussed the importance of working together to limit the spread of COVID-19, noting that stopping the spread of the virus was a shared priority. Secretary Pompeo and President von der Leyen agreed that cooperation between United States and the European Union was key.
