Secretary of State Michael R. Pompeo spoke today with Estonian Foreign Minister Urmas Reinsalu. Secretary Pompeo expressed appreciation for Estonia’s hosting of the Three Seas Initiative Virtual Summit, reaffirmed the U.S. commitment to invest up to $1 billion in Three Seas infrastructure projects, and commended Estonia for taking decisive action against Hizballah, which sent a strong message in Europe. The Secretary and the Foreign Minister also discussed ways to enhance European security, as well as developments in Belarus and in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
