MEADHANAN Opts Out of IPA Accelerator Scheme

MEADHANAN Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Mayside Partners Limited, an Edinburgh-based venture capital firm, has today announced its decision not to pursue full membership in the IPA (Institute of Practitioners in Advertising) via the IPA Accelerator scheme.

The company's decision comes at a time when many other, smaller, agencies are searching for ways to increase market share in an uncertain economy.

Bill White, CEO of Mayside Partners said: "We had hoped to realise some tangible benefit or anything approaching value for money in our association with the IPA, but unfortunately, that was not the case."

"As is often the case with associations, the real goal is a mechanism designed to encourage future funding for the association," White explained.

White added: "Our clients will continue to benefit from our independence."
