Former Mumbai Police Commissioner Param Bir Singh filed PIL for an immediate and unbiased probe against Anil Deshmukh Home, Minister of Maharashtra.

Seeking CBI probe, former CP reiterated during last month present Home Minister of Maharashtra holds a couple of meetings with police officials and regularly interfered with police functioning, often misuse his office.
This comes after the direction of the Supreme Court to approach Mumbai High Court with his grievances. The apex court said that former CP’s claims that the existing Home Minister asked API Sachin Vaze to collect 100 crore rupees as extortion money from restaurant and bars of Mumbai.
