Flag Hosting by Protesters on Red Fort Still Unanswered


Under well-planned conspiracy, protesters of tractor rally organized by Kisan unions with the support of pollical parties on republic day violated pre conditions mutually decided between police and leaders of Kisan union and indulge in violence and vandalism.


Thousands of protesters stormed into Delhi with their tractor rally this morning and also entered the iconic Red Fort and ITO in the heart of the national capital, triggering violent face-offs with police.


A section of protesters entered into Red Fort and hoisted flags from domes of the iconic monument. Violence incidences are also noticed from Mukarba Chowk, Gazipur, ITO, Seemapuri, Nangloi T-Point, Tikri Border, Singhu Border, and other parts of Delhi.


One protester died by the overturning of a tractor hitting on the barricade. According to Delhi Police Commissioner Sh. S.N. Srivastava, 394 police personnel sustained injuries and some of them are hospitalized and are in critical condition.


200 detained and case has been registered against Twenty-two cases have been filed under the appropriate section. Rakesh Tikait son of former Kisan leader M.S. Tikait is among the six representatives against whom the case has been registered.



Names of 40 representatives who have been attending talks with the government are mentioned in the FIR. Swaraj Abhiyan's Yogendra Yadav too has also been mentioned in the police complaint Further investigation is going on.
