Duping 1.76 Crores from Aircel by Making International Roaming Calls

10 years old case of duping Aircel Mobile Service Provider by making international calls of rupees 1.76 crores worth was cracked by Economic Offence Wing of Delhi Police.


Preliminary investigation reveals that one Chitresh Mohan Sharma resident of Jaitpur (Delhi) obtained 10 sim cards from Aircel by providing fake documents of Deepak Rawat posing himself as the owner of LA Bella Export & Import Ltd.


After using sim cards for international roaming and making huge calls routed from Nepal to USA and Maldives accused was absconding without clearing outstanding of mobile operator worth 7.6 crores rupees.


Now accused is in police custody and an investigation is going on.
