Coordinator for Counterterrorism Ambassador Nathan A. Sales Travels to Brussels, The Hague, Manila

Ambassador Sales will travel to Belgium, The Hague, and the Philippines November 18 to 21 to discuss a range of initiatives focused on countering terrorist threats in Europe and Southeast Asia.


In Brussels, Ambassador Sales will meet with members of the European Parliament to discuss Iran and Hizballah’s terrorist activities in Europe and around the world.  In The Hague, he will discuss racially and ethnically motivated terrorism and the repatriation of foreign terrorist fighters.  In the Philippines, Ambassador Sales will meet with national security and counterterrorism officials to discuss information sharing and efforts to combat the financing of terrorism in the region.
