The former Australian Cricketer Dean Jones passes away at the age of 59 due to cardiac arrest. He was part of the Star Sports commentary team for the ongoing Indian Premier League and was in a bio-secure bubble in Mumbai. His innovative batting and his professorial analysis in the studio were always such a joy to watch. He will be also remembered for his brilliance in the 50-over game, arguably Jones’ finest moment in the national team came in scorching conditions in Chennai in 1986, where his selfless and courageous inning of 210 helped Australia to a famous tie against India.
