Assistant Secretary Manisha Singh’s Travel to Florida and The Bahamas

Assistant Secretary for Economic and Business Affairs Manisha Singh will travel to Miami, Florida and Nassau, The Bahamas from January 22-28.


Assistant Secretary Singh will be in Miami from January 22-25.  She will deliver a keynote address on the benefits of the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement at the South Florida Economic Summit hosted by the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce.  She will also participate in an Innovation Roundtable with leaders from the health technology and life sciences industries to commemorate National Biotechnology Month.  This session continues a series of roundtables led by Assistant Secretary Singh to increase State Department engagement with innovation industries and emerging technologies.


Assistant Secretary Singh will then travel to The Bahamas from January 25-28, where she will sign a new Open Skies Air Transport Agreement on behalf of the United States, which will create greater opportunities for U.S. airlines and improve travel opportunities for American passengers.
