Acting Assistant Secretary for European and Eurasian Affairs Philip T. Reeker will travel to Germany and Georgia September 6-10 to engage in several key events and meet with senior leaders.
On September 6, Ambassador Reeker will stop in Munich and meet with the team at the U.S. Consulate General Munich.
From September 7-10, Ambassador Reeker will visit Tbilisi, Georgia, where he will participate in the 2019 Tbilisi International Conference. Ambassador Reeker will join regional security experts, Georgian policymakers, civil society activists, and the business community to discuss issues affecting Georgia’s democratic progress and transatlantic aspirations, and reinforce U.S. support for Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
Ambassador Reeker will also meet with senior Georgian government officials, members of parliament, and representatives of civil society organizations.
